We had a very busy week. We spent a lot of time focusing on the 3rd component of the Daily 5, read to someone. Reading with a partner requires a lot of decision making and teamwork. The kiddos have done great and we are now going to focus on the last 2 components: word work and listen to reading. Our stamina for read to self is up to 10 minutes!! Please make sure you are practicing spelling words and sight words at home. We are also focusing on math fact fluency this week, just quizzing your kiddos in the car on the way to school or on the way to evening activities will be a big help! Focusing on plus/minus 1 or 2 would be a great start (For example 5+1, 4-1, 6+2, 8-1).

*Still missing field trip forms, this week you will receive a new copy if I haven’t received yours.

*Fall Pictures Wednesday, please turn in picture order forms by Wednesday.

*Family Fun Night Thursday at 6:00, dinner is provided!

*Book Order Due by Sept. 28th. (See earlier post for information)
