Short week, which means no Storytown… no spelling words, high frequency words! We will be focusing on writing next week and preparing them to present at conferences! A huge part of our new set of standards in reading is speech. These conferences will allow students to practice their speaking to a target audience, you!
*I will be sending a paper reminder home today regarding your conference time.
I am putting together book orders as we speak, they will be due Friday, February 22. Ordering online is the easiest method, but if you want to send in a paper order and check that is fine as well! Also, online is an additional catalog for those students reading at a higher level.
Wednesday dismissal at 1:00.
No school Thursday-Monday!!
**Pennies for Patients: Last week on Wednesday they totaled up our change collected so far. Mr. Purcell’s class had $138 with second place at $79. We had $7.56 We have probably doubled our money since then but have a long ways to go to reach our goal of $300!!
Here is a class picture from our musical at school yesterday. I am so proud of the kiddos, I thought they did a FABULOUS job! Thanks to all you for your hard work on costumes and helping them learn their parts! Great job!
